Basketball New Zealand are looking for two Community Leads

These two roles will develop and implement community development strategies and deliver development projects with targeted regions, clubs and communities.  One role will focus on club and league development and one on growing the game for women and girls. Both roles may lead projects in other key areas including: facilities and spaces to play; helping clubs and communities develop coaches and officials; providing participation programmes; and improving player wellbeing.  Travel will be required, and a branded vehicle will be part of the remuneration package.

You will need: A relevant qualification, or equivalent experience in community sport development and delivery; experience developing and delivering community programmes; high levels of energy and the ability to influence and lead change; excellent written and oral communication skills; a valid and clean driver’s license.
