Introduction

The following is the consultation process for the proposed facility build at Metro Park, Silverdale. We highly value your input and aim to ensure the new facility reflects the diverse needs and aspirations of our community. The consultation process involves gathering feedback through community surveys and targeted workshops, followed by a series of community workshops to refine and finalise the project plans.

The consultation is open to individuals, families, community members, and organizations such as clubs, local organisations, schools, and Regional Sports Organizations (RSOs).

Consultation Process

Step 1

Community Consultation Survey

Objective: Gather high-level input from the broader community.

Focus: Identify overarching themes, priorities, and values that should guide the facility’s development.

Step 2

Targeted Consultation Survey

Objective: Collect detailed needs and preferences from specific organisations, sports clubs, schools, community groups, and other stakeholders.

Confirm if the respondent has the authority to speak on behalf of their organisation.

Specify the type of organisation (e.g., sports club, school, community group).
