Benny Valaau aka “Coach Benny” is making the North Shore more awesome by volunteering their time at Glenfield Greyhounds Rugby league Club, where he coaches a team with 28 kids and he has also been working with referee development at ARL to upskill a number of kids and parents.
Volunteers are the backbone of community sport. “Benny is the guy who will go over and above everyday to ensure kids in our community continue to have access to, and enjoy their sport. He shows up week after week for his players, and he continues to look at different ways to keep them engaged, and grow the participation in rugby league. ”
