Basketball in Aotearoa has experienced strong growth during the last decade with more people playing, watching, and becoming fans. Through our Strengthen and Adapt Plan we’re on a journey to make basketball the most popular sport in Aotearoa. We’re now expanding our regional support team and looking for leaders to help our Associations build their capacity and capability.
We have an exciting opportunity for a High-Performance Programme Manager-Men to join our fun and supportive team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the high-performance 5×5 programme, World Cups and World Cup Qualifying Games and other exciting programmes.
Your responsibilties will include:
- Orginising all high-perfromance 5×5 programs at the Association level.
- Overseeing all planning, development, and implementation for Senior, U19/U17/U15 5×5 National Teams campaigns.
- Assit with the planning and implementation of the High-Perfromance Programmes budget.
- Lead a collaborative high-performance envrioment that elicits optimal input for athlete and coach well-being and athlete and coach representation.
