Basketball New Zealand are looking for a Participation & Wellbeing Lead

The wellbeing of our participants, with emphasis on tamariki and rangatahi (children and young people), must be at the heart of our decision-making and programme development. This role will embed a player centered approach to all programmes and services, including Kiwi Hoops and Girls Got Game, and will take full accountability for the development and implementation of the Participation Strategy and Wellbeing Policy.  This will include identifying and developing good practice, and sharing this with associations and partners, while also keeping them fully informed of BBNZ programmes, resources, support, and services.

You will need:  A relevant qualification, or equivalent significant experience in community sport development and delivery; experience developing and delivering community participation programmes; high levels of energy and the ability to influence and lead change; excellent written and oral communication skills.
