Harbour Sport is looking for a motivated, capable and credible Rodney Sport Development Officer to work with our passionate and committed team to adhere to our purpose of creating a community that participates in life long physical activity.

This role is a leadership role for coaching in the community, working as an advisor to sport and recreation organisations and their coaches. Along with a tertiary qualification preferably in coaching or significant coaching experience, the ideal person will be very confident in presenting and communicating at a variety of levels and experienced in adult learning and working with coach developers.

Tasks will include developing and implementing a coaching plan, supporting clubs and schools, supporting region-wide delivery of programmes, managing student coaches, facilitating development opportunities for coaches, managing CRM systems and online coaching resources and being innovative to introduce additional coaching income streams to Harbour Sport.

This is a fixed term position for 8 months, 40 hours per week
