Poppy Sancto-Jones is making the North Shore more awesome by volunteering her time at Waitemata Synchro Club running beginner synchro swimming sessions and offering endless support. She is praised as an ‘invaluable asset to her club and her sport.’

Poppy said, “I love coaching beginner synchronised swimmers at Waitemata Synchro Club and watching them have fun while improving their confidence and skills in and around water. As well as this, I judge synchro routines at local competitions, rewarding swimmers for all their hard work.”

We want to recognise and celebrate Poppy as we know that volunteers are the backbone of community sport.

Ngā mihi Poppy, April’s #OneNZ Volunteer of the Month!
