Permanent, Full-Time Position | 40 Hours per week

We are seeking an exceptional, well organised, people-oriented, Assistant Director of Sport to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Working 40 hours per week, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, growth and day-to-day management of our school’s vibrant sports programme.

In this position, you will work closely with the Director of Sport and sports Co-ordinators to oversee a wide range of sporting codes, manage seasonal transitions and cultivate a culture of excellence, participation and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy: Support the Director of Sport in long-term planning, budgeting and the overall vision of the school’s sports department.

Programme Administration: Oversee the administration for a diverse range of sports codes, including registrations, tournament entries, fixtures and transport.

Events & Exchanges: Support the planning, logistics and delivery of annual school sporting events, inter-school exchanges and the annual Sports Prizegiving.

Communication: Act as a key sports department point of contact, communicating effectively with students, families, coaches, regional sports bodies and the wider community.

Outstanding organisational and management skills, with the ability to handle complex scheduling.

Strong digital literacy, with proven experience managing administrative databases and sports communications.

A collaborative, proactive mindset and the ability to step up and lead independently.

An ability to work in a fast paced office, managing multiple tasks, with short turn arounds.

Previous experience in a sports organisation or in a school’s sports department is an advantage.
