The Centre Development Officers [CDO]will ensure that netball system and program development aligns with the Whole of Netball Plan and the Netball Zone Community Netball Plan. The objective of this role is to:
Improve the capacity and capability of staff and volunteers to deliver quality netball experiences at a grassroots level.
Increase the quality and accessibility of netball for players, coaches, officials and administrators.
Grow and sustain netball volunteer and participation numbers for players, coaches, officials and administrators at a grassroots level.
Be an advocate for quality netball development in the South Auckland [SA] area and ensure that SA is well represented in Netball Northern Zone.
Provide support, direction and leadership to community netball in the SA area.
Build strong relationships with key personnel in netball centres, schools, clubs, with community Funders and Sponsors, other Zone personnel, Council, the Regional Sports Trust and other external bodies.
Lead volunteer acknowledgement, promotion, advocacy and support.
Fixed,12 month term.
