The LTP public consultation process has been launched and is open until 28th March!!

Community sport, recreation and physical activity in Auckland is at major risk – You can do something about it…

Further to our recent communications regarding the importance of the whole of the sport and recreation sector getting involved in making submissions on the Long Term Plan and Auckland Plan, the time has come to be proactive.

The documents which accompany this communication will give you information on the key messages to which you can tailor your submission, the important Local Board initiatives that need to be supported and also details of public hearings that you can attend to have your say. There is also information on a number of different ways to make your submissions, which just to remind you, need to be individual and ‘in your own words’ NOT simply copied from a document.

It is imperative that you take the time to ‘have your say’ and share this information with as many people as you can so that they too can join the sector in a show of collaborative solidarity to Auckland Council.
